School supply donations were given to Angela Henry, Chief Academic Officer for Caddo Parish Schools, and Waylon Bates, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum for Bossier Parish Schools.
“Both representatives emphasized the importance of community support, noting that many students begin the school year without essential supplies and teachers often spend their own money to fill the gap,” a press release stated. “The Krewe of Gemini is honored to support both sides of the river with efforts that make a direct impact on local children and educators.”
