Baton Rouge police looking for man accused of attempted rape, obscenity
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Baton Rouge Police Department is searching for a man wanted on charges of attempted second-degree rape and obscenity.
Police said Marquise Quindell Beckham, 26, of Baton Rouge, is wanted on felony charges.
According to authorities, the incident happened at the pool area of a Ben Hur Road apartment complex on July 22. According to an arrest warrant, Beckham is accused of exposing himself to the victim before chasing her as she started walking away. The victim told investigators that the suspect fled after she started screaming while seeking help at the apartment office doors.
Police provided two different photos of Beckham. Anyone with information about Beckham’s whereabouts is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 225-344-7867.
