Pedestrian critically injured in uptown Charlotte bus crash: Medic

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) – A person was rushed to the hospital Tuesday morning with life-threatening injuries after they were struck by a CATS bus in uptown Charlotte.

The accident happened just after 6 a.m. on Tuesday, July 22, at the corner of 3rd Street and Brevard Street.

Medic confirmed with Queen City News that one person was transported to Novant Presbyterian with serious injuries.

The exact circumstances of the accident remain under investigation. Queen City News has reached out to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police for further information.
