Columbus police respond to shooting that left 1 person injured near Stone Way Drive

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — The Columbus Police Department posted on X (Twitter), saying that officers responded to a shooting Tuesday morning.

According to CPD, the shooting happened in the 6100 block of Stone Way Drive, with one person injured in the incident.

The current extent of the victim’s injuries remains unknown at this time.

CPD says its Violent Crimes Unit is stepping in to lead the investigation.
