1 killed in Baton Rouge shooting Monday

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Police are investigating a Baton Rouge shooting that left one person dead Monday evening.

The Baton Rouge Police Department identified the victim as Keion Johnson, 26. Johnson was found dead around 7:30 p.m. July 21 in the 200 block of North 13th Street near Florida Street.

Police said a motive and suspect are unknown, and an investigation is ongoing.
