MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — Anglers brought in some crazy catches at the Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo on Friday: two sharks!
As dozens of anglers started to come in to weigh their catches of the day, an incredible catch was seen taking up the front of a boat. A bull shark was then pulled out with a crane and weighed 355 pounds.

“We were aiming for a bull shark,” Britton Womack, angler of one of the sharks, said.
A separate team brought in another shark just a few minutes later – this time, a tiger shark!

Officials said they weren’t sure if the catch would make it in by the 7:00 p.m. deadline, but the tiger shark was weighed just before the horn rang and came in at 246.8 lb.
Fishermen will head to sea again at 5:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday with hopes of bringing in the biggest catch of the tournament.
