Alaska Airlines flights temporarily grounded due to IT outage

(KRON) — Alaska Airlines flights are temporarily grounded due to an IT outage Sunday night, the airline announced on social media. The outage is impacting Alaska Airlines operations system-wide.

Planes will be grounded until the issue is resolved, Alaska says.

The airline posted about the outage on X at 9:41 p.m. Alaska Airlines advises customers to check the status of their flights before leaving for the airport.

No other information was immediately available.
