Quadruple shooting in Austin lands 4 men in the hospital
CHICAGO (WGN) — Four people were shot in the Austin neighborhood just past noon on Sunday, according to the Chicago Police Department.

CPD said four men were on the sidewalk in the 4900 block of West Ferdinand around 12:15 p.m. when an unknown vehicle pulled up. Three armed offenders got out and opened fire on the group.

All four men were shot and went to local hospitals with a variety of gunshot wounds, with each one listed in good condition.

A 26-year-old man was shot in the ankle and drove himself to Stroger Hospital. A 31-year-old man was hit in the shoulder and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital. A 37-year-old man was shot in his legs and taken to Mount Sinai. A 51-year-old man was shot in the flank and taken to Stroger.

Police have no one in custody.
