Juvenile seriously injured in 4-wheeler crash in Addis
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A juvenile was seriously injured in a 4-wheeler crash Saturday afternoon in Addis.
The Addis Police Department responded to the intersection of Stonewall Drive and Union Drive around 3:15 p.m. and found that a juvenile passenger had been ejected from a 4-wheeler. They were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, police said.
Police confirmed the 4-wheeler was driven by another juvenile. No other vehicles were involved.
The West Baton Rouge Fire Department and emergency medical services also responded to the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
Addis police reminded the public that 4-wheelers are not permitted on public roadways in the town except for agricultural use.
