Fairfield County petting zoo owner accused of unlawful sexual conduct with a teen

According to the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office, investigators received a report involving an underage male victim.

Court records state that deputies met with the victim’s mother, who alleged that her son was having a sexual relationship with 36-year-old Amanda Spain, the owner and operator of Picture Perfect Ranch on Rockmill Road Northwest, just west of Lancaster.

The sheriff’s office interviewed the 15-year-old victim, who told deputies that Spain purchased a cell phone for him and put the phone on her plan to speak with him without his parents finding out. The victim stated that the two became close and he admitted to the two having a sexual relationship over the previous few months.

Spain was taken into custody on Wednesday and charged with unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. She was issued a $100,000 bond in common pleas court and a preliminary hearing will take place on July 24.
