2 arrested for obstruction following a Minneapolis shooting that injured 2 people

Minneapolis Police said two people were arrested Sunday morning after they were reportedly obstructing officers who were assisting injured people and investigating a crime scene.

Police said officers were patrolling the area near the 1400 block of Lagoon Avenue when they heard gunfire.

Responding to the area, officers said they found two men with apparent non-life-threatening gunshot injuries.

While on scene, police said a crowd began to interfere with officers who were rendering aid to the injured men and officers who were trying to collect evidence.
