Two men arrested in Vermilion Parish for four pounds of marijuana; firearm offenses
VERMILION PARISH, La. (KLFY) — Two men were arrested following a vehicle search that resulted in the seizure of four pounds of marijuana and a .300 black out pistol, deputies said.
On Tuesday, deputies arrested Christopher Samuels, Jr., 20 and Braylon Wesley, 25.

According to deputies, they were contacted by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office regarding a subject attempting to distribute a large amount of suspected marijuana.
Deputies said they conducted surveillance in the area where the suspect was thought to be. Agents observed the suspected vehicle, and a search was conducted involving the vehicle with Wesley and Samuels.
No further updates on Wesley and Samuels’s bond status were released.
