Two killed in Fauquier County murder-suicide, deputies say

FAUQUIER COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Two people were killed in an apparent murder-suicide in Fauquier County on Friday morning, according to the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO).

Deputies say crews received reports around 9:15 a.m. of a shooting inside a home on Midhurst Court in the Sumerduck area.

There, two people were found fatally shot, with deputies deeming the incident a murder-suicide.

FCSO noted that a teenager was at home during the time of the shooting but was not hurt.
