SF’s second Ross Dress for Less to open Saturday

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) – San Francisco’s second Ross Dress for Less store is set to open Saturday, July 19.   

The newest location’s address is 901 Market St.

The retail company was founded in the Bay Area. It sells home decor, clothes, toys, snacks and more.

“The current Market Street store opened in 1986 and remains one of the most visited by our customers across our fleet of over 1,800 Ross Dress for Less stores,” said the CEO of Ross Stores, Inc., Jim Conroy. “While other retailers have shuttered stores, we saw a great opportunity to deliver even more value to the city and the entire Bay Area.”

Hours of operation will be from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Monday through Sunday. 

According to Ross, the store has brought approximately 90 jobs to the area.
