Authorities are investigating after two people were found dead at a home in Pierz on Friday.
The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office said they received a request to do a welfare check at a home on the 600 block of River Valley Road just after 10:30 a.m.
The sheriff’s office and Pierz police found a man and woman who were both dead inside the home. Their bodies were brought to the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office, and their cause of death and identities will be revealed at a later time.
Authorities stated that this was an isolated incident and there is no known threat to the public.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) was brought in to help with the investigation.
