Fairfax County firefighters tackle house fire in Dunn Loring

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Fairfax County Fire and Rescue crews were at the scene of a house fire that broke out Friday morning in Dunn Loring.

In a social media post made shortly before 11 a.m., authorities said the home was in the 8500 block of Stonewall Drive. When units arrived, they said smoke was showing from the second floor and that the fire was in the attic.

As of the time of their posting, firefighters said they were able to get the fire under control.

Luckily, no one was hurt.
