West Point hunting permits now available for 2025-2026 season

MOBILE, Ala. (WRBL) — Permits for the 2025-2026 hunting season are now available, according to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Officials with the USACE and the West Point Project Management Office say a $25 permit is required to hunt on the approximate 10,000 acres of public land open to hunters. Permits can be purchased in person at the West Point Lake Visitor Center, by phone at 706-645-2937 or by mail.

The army corps recommends that hunters review hunting maps and permits carefully to ensure compliance with all local and state hunting regulations and weapons restrictions. Hunters must also carry a valid permit at all times.
