David Cline and John Maxim, the organizers behind the 2025 Utah Treasure Hunt, released the second set of hints on Friday morning as the hunt enters its third week.
According to the first hint in the second set, many might have already figured out that music influenced the poem, but Cline and Maxim said, “There’s more beneath the surface than meets the eye at first glance.”
A second hint says to take the fifth line of the poem literally. The fifth line tells treasure hunters, “If you get lost just follow the arrow.” Hunters are now told that there is an arrow somewhere along the trail, and they should follow it to find the treasure.
Finally, Cline and Maxim said it shouldn’t take more than an hour to reach the chest’s location from where you park your car for the trail.
“No need to venture too far into the backcountry this year,” Cline and Maxim said in the second set of hints.
Last week, organizers laid out the boundaries for this year’s Utah Treasure Hunt, revealing the hunt is somewhere along the Wasatch Front between Ogden and Payson and Tooele and Park City.
