Machesney Park announces program to lower telephone bills for seniors

MACHESNEY PARK, Ill. (WTVO) — The Village of Machesney Park has announced it will be aiding seniors by offering a telecom tax rebate program.

Senior residents will qualify for the program depending on their income and if they are 65 years of age or older.

Machensey Park seniors must provide proof of age, residence, income and copies of their last 12 paid telephone bills.

Applications for the rebate will be accepted through September 2, 2025.

To apply, visit the Village’s website, request an application by calling (815) 877-5432 or visit Machensey Park’s Village Hall located at 300 Roosevelt Road.
