ANDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — Residents were evacuated in Anderson County on Friday after a gas leak at an industrial plant.
Anderson County EMS/Emergency Management first shared the evacuation request at 9:13 a.m. on Facebook.
Officials asked people living within a quarter mile of the old YKK plant on Industry Road to leave until the all clear was given.
Around 12 p.m., officials said the leak was contained and the all clear was given for residents to return to their homes.
No injuries were reported.
