Thirty years later, it’s almost come full circle when the last episode of a hit TV sitcom beloved by locals aired. Cast members of “Full House” are coming back to San Francisco. Well, at least two of them are.
Jodie Sweetin, a.k.a. “Stephanie Tanner,” and Andrea Barber, a.k.a. “Kimmy Gibbler,” are special guests for a live showing of the “Pod Meets World” podcast, it was announced on social media. The show will take place on Friday, July 25 at the Palace of Fine Arts.
Sweetin and Barber starred in the spinoff “Fuller House,” which ran from 2016 to 2020. They also co-host the “How Rude, Tanneritos!” podcast.
To add to the nostalgia, hosts of the “Pod Meets World” are also cast members of another 1990s hit TV show: “Boy Meets World.” Remember Shawn, Eric and Topanga? Rider Strong, Will Friedle and Danielle Fishel are hosting the live podcast event.
Tickets for the show can be purchased here.
Full House aired from 1987 to 1995 and became a San Francisco Bay Area favorite. The show famously takes place in The City. In April, the property portrayed in the sitcom, located in Pacific Heights, sold for $6 million.
Even decades later, Full House remains a part of San Francisco culture. Bob Saget, who played Danny Tanner, died in 2022 and a Mission District mural has been made for the late actor.
