CLOVIS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Former Clovis Unified Superintendent Terry P. Bradley, Ed.D., has passed, the school district announced on Thursday.

Superintendent Corrine Folmer, Ed.D., sent a statement saying Bradley “had a passion for numbers and budgets,” and that he was “the kind of person whose wisdom, character, and kindness left a lasting legacy not only here in Clovis Unified but across the state.”

The statement reads in part,

Over the past year, we have spoken often of legacy and the impact we leave on the world around us. Terry was the kind of person whose wisdom, character and kindness left a lasting legacy not only here in Clovis Unified but across the state and our nation.  California’s school finance program still bears marks of his making and as recently as June he was continuing to help school districts and mentor superintendents around Fresno County. In fact, he was recently honored by the Coalition for Adequate School Housing with the Jim Murdoch Lifetime Achievement Award. He spent the past 16 years mentoring leaders in our district and across the state.
