
BOX ELDER, Utah (ABC4) — A new fire started on Bureau of Land Management (BLM) lands and is currently at 30 acres but is 20% contained.
According to Utah Fire Info, the Bettridge Fire started in Box Elder County on Thursday evening, near the Pilot Mountain Range. the fire is currently at 30 acres and is burning entirely on BLM-managed land.

Currently, a number of resources are on scene, including BLM engines, a crew from the United States Forest Service, and resources from Tooele and Cedar City. Both air and ground resources are on scene as well.
Fortunately, no structures are threatened at this time and crews have already managed to reach 20% containment.
