The FBI is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the suspect’s identification, arrest, and conviction. Anyone with tips is urged to call 1-800-CALL-FBI.

The raid, one of two conducted that day targeting marijuana farms in Camarillo and Carpinteria in Santa Barbara County, resulted in the arrest of more than 360 people, according to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

It is believed to be the largest single-day immigration enforcement operation in California history. Federal agents descended on Glass House Farms in Camarillo that morning, detaining suspected undocumented workers and minors allegedly working in violation of labor laws.

A large crowd of protesters gathered to confront federal agents and local authorities who had been dispatched, leading to officers firing tear gas and flash bang grenades. At least 12 people were injured during the raid and protest, according to the Ventura County Fire Department.

Some workers attempted to flee or hide, including Jaime Alanís, who suffered fatal injuries when he fell 30 feet from a rooftop.
