Stallworth was found guilty of Austin’s murder in April.
According to police, Austin was shot in the 4200 block of Auburn Street around 12:20 p.m. on October 29th, 2022.
Authorities said video surveillance footage showed Austin get into a black Chevrolet Impala and get shot moments later.
Police later identified Stallworth as the suspect in the shooting. The murder weapon was found in his backpack at the time of his arrest, authorities said.
He was given credit for 2.7 years spent in jail, awaiting trial.
