
ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Fire responded to a blaze that left four people displaced.
Firefighters were called to the 1400 block of Birch Street for a fire coming from the second floor of an apartment at around 3:30 p.m.
The blaze was put out within 15 minutes.
The four people displaced are being assisted by the Red Cross.
There were an estimated $50,000 in damages.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
