According to authorities, today, around 6 p.m., Louisiana State Police began investigating a serious injury crash involving a trooper on LA 190 at the intersection with LA 104.
Officials said the trooper was investigating a prior crash when they were struck by a vehicle. The trooper sustained serious, but stable injuries, and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
