Tenant reports family member set home on fire in Lincolnton

LINCOLNTON, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Deputies with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to a fire at a residence in Lincolnton Tuesday around noon.

The tenant reported that the home was purposely set on fire by a known family member.

Tyreke Dreshawn Alexander, of Lincolnton, was arrested and charged with second-degree arson.

He is being held on a $225,000 bond.
