The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) said that earlier in the week, a resident along Andrew Chapel Road said they started hearing “strange noises.” They said it was coming from inside their chimney.
A deputy squeezed her arm past the flue of the chimney and was able to rescue the hawk.
SCSO said the hawk was not hurt and was released back into the wild.
