APD responds to SWAT call near Alysheba Drive in Del Valle

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Police Department is on scene of a SWAT call near Alysheba Drive in Del Valle, just east of the Austin Airport, according to a social media post from APD.

The department posted about the incident around 8 p.m. but did not give much detail. However, the post said APD would hold a media briefing. Police said the briefing would take place at Del Valle High School.

Police asked the public to avoid the area.
