The PA Game Commission said resident hunters who purchased their license before July 14 would get one doe tag in the wildlife management unit of their choice. All WMUs still have licenses available.
Central PA WMUs had some of the most remaining licenses (as of July 16):
- 4A – 58,962 available out of 64,000
- 4B – 44,583 available out of 60,000
- 4C – 25,042 available out of 51,000
- 4D – 62,038 available out of 83,000
- 4E – 42,968 available out of 61,000
- 5A – 38,243 available out of 46,000
- 5B – 63,145 available out of 86,000
Nonresident sales started July 14. Hunters can purchase a second antlerless deer tag when the second round begins for all hunters on July 28.
Every hunter has the same personal limit of one antlerless deer license per round in the first three rounds. In the fourth round, a hunter is eligible for up to six antlerless deer licenses total for all WMUs except 5C and 5D, in which a hunter is able to purchase an additional nine for a total of up to 15 antlerless deer licenses.
Resident antlerless deer licenses cost $6.97, and nonresident antlerless deer licenses cost $26.97. They are first come, first serve.
