Topeka police investigate suspicious death near local community center
TOPEKA (KSNT) – Police are launching a suspicious death investigation this week after finding a dead person in a vehicle near a Topeka community center.

The Topeka Police Department (TPD) announced in a press release that officers on patrol around 6:45 p.m. on July 15 came across a suspicious vehicle in the 1500 block of Southwest Clay Street near the Central Park Community Center. Officers found a dead man inside the vehicle.

The TPD said the investigation into the incident is ongoing. More information will be added to this story or a later article as it becomes available.
