Rowan County dispute on highway leaves person shot in the head by family member: Sheriff

ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A person is in critical condition after a shooting between family members, according to the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.

Around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15, deputies were called to the shooting on US Highway 601 near Sells Road, just outside the city limits of Salisbury. At first, they were told it was a road rage shooting; however, it later came out that both people involved were family members.
