WAYNE COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — A man who was arrested in June for allegedly trying to gun down his neighbor was indicted on Wednesday.

Court documents filed on Wednesday alleged that on June 18, Garry Maziarz, 46, of Monticello, allegedly shot at his neighbor from inside his home, endangering not only the neighbor but also his family.

On the night of the shooting, officers said several guns were found in the home, including one under a child’s bed upstairs, and multiple bullet holes were found in an outside wall of the neighbor’s home. One was found on their front porch within a couple of feet of where the neighbor was reportedly standing, according to court documents.

LATEST KENTUCKY NEWS:

He was indicted on five counts of first-degree wanton endangerment—discharge of a firearm, resisting arrest, second-degree criminal mischief, and attempted murder.

Maziarz was lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center and held on a $100,000 cash bond. His next court date has yet to be announced.
