Daytime highs will be mostly in the low to mid 60s on the coast, in the low 60s to high 70s around the bay, and in the high 70s to mid 80s inland. Overnight lows will be mostly in the mid 50s, with interior areas near the 60s.
Forecasters say patchy drizzle and morning fog will return Wednesday as low-level clouds drift inland overnight, keeping coastal skies socked in early on.
Inland communities will continue to feel a modest cooldown. Wednesday marks day two of a slight cooling trend that’s expected to hold through Thursday. According to the NWS, temps across interior valleys will run 5 to 10 degrees below normal.
Along the coast, expect cooler, breezy conditions with cloud cover lingering well into the morning before partial clearing in the afternoon.
While conditions remain generally mild, localized elevated fire weather risks persist, particularly in the higher elevations, due to dry vegetation and breezy winds. Fire officials are urging residents in those areas to remain vigilant.
Forecasters expect this cooler pattern to continue through Thursday, with a gradual warming trend beginning Friday and lasting into the weekend.
