Cannabis products sold in NYS recalled for pesticides

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The New York State Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) issued a recall on Tuesday for three cannabis products sold at dispensaries throughout the state. Officials said some East End Flower Farm products were not properly tested for pesticides.

OCM officials said the three products were tested by Lexachrom Analytical Laboratory, which is no longer allowed to test cannabis products. East End Flower Farm retested one of the three affected product lots, which failed due to pesticides over the allowable limit set by OCM.

• Lemon Haze Flower- 3.5 gram container, EE-LH-8-001
• Pure Michigan Flower- 3.5 gram container, EE-PM-8-001

At the time of the recall, no effects from consumption had been reported. Anyone who bought one of the recalled products, which is also sold under the brand “Harvest,” should stop using the product, call the dispensary where they purchased it, and return it.

Anyone who consumed one of the recalled products and felt adverse effects should complete an incident form online. A full list of recalled cannabis products in the state can be found on the New York State website.
