BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a shooting on Highland Road on Tuesday evening.
According to the police, gunfire erupted near the A.M. Food Mart at the intersection of Highland Road and E. Buchanan Street after 7 p.m. At least one person was injured in the shooting, officers confirmed.
Police believe the shooting was a targeted attack.
