CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A 17-year-old has been charged with murder for allegedly killing 17-year-old Dontre Williams, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
On Tuesday, July 8, officers arrested the suspect and charged them with murder in connection with the homicide that happened two weeks prior on June 24.
Williams was reportedly shot around 7:30 that night on the 1900 block of Milton Road. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Williams’s next of kin has been notified of the arrest.
