
CHICAGO — An 11-year-old boy was injured in a shooting Tuesday evening on Chicago’s South Side, police said.
The child was standing on the sidewalk in the 7100 block of South Union Avenue just after 5:45 p.m. when he was struck in the arm by unknown gunfire, according to Chicago police.
He was taken to a nearby hospital and is listed in good condition.
No one is currently in custody. Detectives are investigating.
