
RIVERDALE, Ill. — A 30-year-old woman was fatally assaulted on the city’s Far South Side.
According to the Chicago Sun-Times, a person of interest is being questioned in the death of Shaniqua Kinnard.
Chicago police said the woman was found unresponsive around 8:10 a.m. Friday inside a home in the 13000 block of South Martin Luther King Drive. She was pronounced dead on the scene.
The Sun-Times reports an autopsy found she died from multiple injuries from an assault and her death was ruled a homicide.
This incident is still under investigation. No charges have been announced yet.
