Shreveport police searching for man accused of attacking woman in her sleep

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — Shreveport police are searching for a man who is accused of attacking his girlfriend.

The victim reported to police on July 2 that she was awakened by her boyfriend, Kardaryl Wesley, who was striking her with a closed fist. She mentioned that there had been no prior arguments between them before the incident. Additionally, the victim indicated that Wesley might have been under the influence of drugs at the time of the attack. A child under the age of 13 was present in the home at the time of the incident.

The victim managed to escape to a relative’s home and call the police. Anyone with information about Wesley’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Shreveport Police Department at (318) 673-7300 or Caddo Crime Stoppers at (318) 673-7373.
