Lafayette Parish announces locations for sandbags

LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — With heavy rains and possible flooding in the forecast this week, Lafayette Consolidated Government has announced four sandbag locations now open for residents across Lafayette Parish:
  • 400 Dugas Road – LCG Compost Facility
  • 1234 E. Pont Des Mouton Road – Brown Park
  • 1919 Eraste Landry Road – Robicheaux Recreation Center
  • 130 Park Lane – Picard Park

Sites are self-bagging and residents must bring their own shovel and manpower. Residents who require additional assistance filling and loading sandbags, should call 311.
