BOX ELDER COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — A body was discovered in Utah’s remote West Desert Saturday, near the Bonneville Salt Flats.
The body, a deceased adult male, was found in the remote Silver Island Mountains in far western Box Elder County, just north of the Tooele County line, not far from Wendover.
Initial findings by the Box Elder County Sheriff’s Office do not indicate foul play, though the death remains under investigation.
The deceased has been transported to the Utah Office of the Medical Examiner to identify both the body and cause of death.
No further updates are available at this time.
