BELOIT, Wis. (WTVO) — An investigation into child pornography led investigators to arrest a Beloit man on Tuesday.
According to the City of Beloit Police Department, investigators executed a search at a home in the 2600 block of Colley Road as part of the investigation.
Joe Pratt Jr, 52, the suspect in the case, was arrested during a traffic stop.
He was charged with 5 counts of possession of child pornography and 5 counts of sexual exploitation of a child-distribution.
Beloit Police, Janesville Police, the Rock County Sheriff’s Office, the Rock County District Attorney’s Office, and the Wisconsin Department of Justice’s Division of Criminal Investigations contributed to building the case against Pratt, and providing victim and family services.
