Memorial service set for Mountain Brook girl killed in Texas floods
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — A memorial service has been set for Sarah Marsh, an 8-year-old who was killed in the deadly Texas floods.
Marsh, of Mountain Brook, was a student at Cherokee Band Elementary School and the daughter of Patrick Marsh, an assistant professor in Samford University’s department of kinesiology. Marsh was one of 27 campers who died in the Texas floods while at Camp Mystic.
A memorial service is scheduled for July 17 at Cathedral Church of the Advent. Service will begin at 11 a.m. To donate to the memorial fund, click here.
