LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — Keep up with live updates on Lafayette native’s Lauren Domingue during her time in the CBS Big Brother House.

The season started out strong as Lauren, along with several other new houseguests, entered the BB Hotel Mystere.

On the first night houseguests introduced themselves to America showcasing their talents and careers. During Lauren’s segment, she shared her passion of being a bridal consultant, her dream of opening a design company and how she’s ready to take on the game. She loves to share her interest as a BB fan and looks forward to bring her “southern spice” to Big Brother.

When all houseguests entered Hotel Mystere, they gathered in the living room listening to host Julie Chen Moonves ready to announce a twist and the hints to the upcoming HOH competition. The lights go out and Julie disappears from the screen. Houseguests are confronted by a mysterious figure in a mask who claims they kidnapped Julie and stolen the HOH relic. Julie called the houseguests and tells them to split into two teams to find Julie or the HOH relic. Lauren is part of the “Find Julie” team.

During these two competitions, Zach found Julie and won a $10,000 reward. While Jimmy was able to uncover the HOH relic and won the reward to decide which four houseguests will be playing the first HOH competition. Lauren did not volunteer for this competition along with many other houseguests.

Jimmy, Adrian, Ashley and Vince compete in the first HOH competition. In this competition, players are asked to play “Destroy the Lair.” Vince won the first HOH of the summer.

After the first HOH competition and celebrating Vince’s win, the houseguests go back inside and learned about three exciting twists:

• The BB block Buster where the new HOH will nominate three houseguests instead of two houseguests. The three nominated houseguests will play the BB Block Buster on eviction night where one of them will win immunity and while the other two will immediately face eviction.
• Rachel Reilly is back! The BB alum/ season 13 winner is back to play the game alongside the house guest this season.
• The Secret Accomplice twist where one of the new houseguest is playing alongside the masked mastermind figure. The houseguests are challenged to uncover the Accomplice’s identity. If the houseguests fail to correctly identify this saboteur they will enter the game as the 17th houseguest. But if the houseguest finds the accomplice the accomplice could be be evicted immediately from the competition.
