The incident occurred Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. on Barton Drive, near Beauregard Dr. and La Fourche Cir.
According to Shreveport police the victim was arguing with a 14-year-old’s sibling, when the teen stepped in and stabbed the man in the chest.
The victim was taken to Ochsner LSU health with life threatening injuries.
The 14-year-old suspect is currently being detained as the investigation continues.
