Storms possible throughout weekend in central Indiana

Over the last several hours, several storms have worked their way through Central Indiana, producing frequent lightning and downpours. The main line will continue to work eastward, but this will not be an overnight event.

Storms will begin to wind down as we head into the overnight hours, but we will continue to remain mostly cloudy. There still will be a chance for an overnight shower or storm, but most of us will stay dry.

We kick off Sunday morning with temperatures in the upper 60s to lower 70s, but highs will be much cooler on Sunday compared to Saturday.

Storms will be possible in the afternoon as daytime heating hits its peak.

We carry the threat for storms throughout the week and highs will top out in the mid to upper 80s.
