After a stretch of steamy summer days, Sunday will bring a much-needed break from the humidity across Chicagoland.
A ridge of high pressure is moving in, bringing mostly sunny skies and seasonably warm temperatures in the low to mid-80s.
But the real relief? Dewpoints, which were in the muggy 70s both Friday and Saturday, will drop to the high 50s by Sunday afternoon lending a far more comfortable feel to the air.
The latest air samples show that grass and mold pollen is high, while tree and weed pollen are on the low end. So, if you find yourself sniffling and sneezing this weekend, that could be the reason.
