The National Weather Service warns that flooding caused by excessive rainfall is still possible. Runoff may lead to flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone areas. Low-water crossings are particularly vulnerable to flooding.

Thunderstorms producing very heavy rainfall are expected to continue across much of West Central Texas today, becoming more numerous tonight and into Sunday morning. Some storms could drop 2 to 5 inches of rain in a short time, with isolated areas receiving more than 8 inches.

Residents are urged to stay alert to weather updates and avoid driving through flooded roads.
